Tony Monaco Trio at Dana St Roasting Company

Just realized I forgot to post about last weekend's musical goodness. Got to enjoy a night with Tony Monaco, Jack Riordan and Brandon Etzler at Dana St. Roasting Company. There were about 25 people in attendance. Probably one of the sweetest most intimate gigs I ever got to enjoy of Brandon in a while. Red Poppy Art House in the Mission was probably the last venue I attended with such an overall intimate feel. Love everything about that venue. If you ever get a chance to enjoy live music there, do so. There's an overall sliding scale/donation for however much you'd like to contribute to the musicians for the night as well as the snacks and beverages being served. The house is beautifully decked out in vintage upholstery and featured artists' work gracing the walls.

Below are some images of the night of good coffee and greater music company
"all I know is rivets." gettin his hand exercise on before the first set

I look to my left and this is what I see. his expressions meant everything to me. made me feel hopeful of the younger
generation with music.

during intermission,  everyone left and the kid had it with the Hammond B-3. his expression never left him
