This blog is going to be full of the things I am currently obsessing about; Music and Flowers. Sometimes more about Flowers on one week, and sometimes more on Music the next.
This week, Music won. I've been away from my obsession for a while since flowers had me so much this year. I spent a lot of time reminiscing on old, new, and the super nostalgic with open ears and open feel. This week was filled with music of all sorts; Paul Simon, lusting over Bon Iver, Cults, Here We Go Magic, African Gnawa galore, more African and more and more AFRICAN. It even consisted of a bear, a Grizzly Bear to be exact.
Tonight, it's Sidi Toure. Here's a beautiful set of takeaway videos of Sidi in his home town Bamako Mali. This music is so simple and so heart felt. It gets me every time. Please take the time to watch. You'd make a real happy girl out of me.
