I know this is sincerely late and Ranunculus are currently out of California season, but I just had to post. Nothing crazy artistic about the photos or the arranging of florals, just the feeling I felt and will always remember while comprising this day. Cherice, the bride was the sweetest, and I'm not only saying that because she's a dear friend, but she embodies everything it means to be a hard working woman. She's the mother to the coolest 6 year old there is and I will always think and feel back on how thankful she was to the simplicity and beauty of Ranunculus. Her wedding was held at the intimate Forrest Hill Club House in San Francisco. Their closest of loved ones attended. She married a genuinely loving man. It was everything she had hoped for. As I indulge on fresh from the farm strawberries, I think about love and every couple that I have worked with. All I want to feel is inspired by them. Nothing less. There's no better feeling.
The physical labor for this wedding was minimal. I cried after the delivery. Weird. But not so much. I have the tendency to do so every time I'm overwhelmed by a couple's love. I've started this tradition with myself with weddings and sunsets and photographing the best of what consumes and overwhelms me. Feeling and taking in the moment. Simple and natural beauty at its finest.
