Just found out Brandon's last (of the once kooky pair) cleaner shrimp died last night. The photo above isn't his exact shrimpy but looks just like him (or her). Some of the lil critters in there are overstaying and overeating their welcome. The two Tangs (Toumani Diabate and Yellow Buttercup) are too huge for the tank, and pretty much bullying every fish in site, mostly on Toumani's end. Yellow Buttercup is a sweet one, she's just a big boned lady.
Below are photos of some inspiring underwater life from Reef Keeping. It's an amazing site filled with some in depth work of man arranged aquascapes. Brandon is constantly referring to corals as underwater flowers/foliage. I am starting to believe more and more that they are as well. Sometimes I wish I could take a coral and incorporate it into a floral arrangement. They're psychedelically beautiful, always fragile and even destructive (poisonous) at times. They're astonishing creatures and it's still a trip to me that they exist in real life.
