Can't sleep so I blog. Today is elopement day. In a few hours I'll be gettin up to arrange my babies and give em a little more life and an extra ounce of beauty. Making my way down to the Soma area round 10 to drop off the arrangements to Rob and Aldijana. It'll be a sweet surprise as Aldijana has no idea. Still can't believe my babies are taking part in an elopement. I'm feeling their happiness as they're chillin in the refrigerator. Maybe it's just my happiness I'm feelin, but seriously, the flowers speak to me sometimes, I swear.
Must bring camera. I can do some strolling down in that area afterwards as I'm never ever there anyway. Got to put in more practice play with Batman. I think that's a fitting name for my 60d. He's dark, sleek, pretty strong in stature and intimidating as hell (least to me he is). Batman's kind of like that right? I've got to put in more time with him as I am the most illiterate person when it comes to hands on technology.
My friend Cybill raves about the Harvey Milk Rec and Photography Center near her in the Haight area. Says they have all kinds of amenities for beginning and intermediate photographers for considerably fair prices. Must check that out soon.
I'll leave you with some pictures I took last week on my day off strollin the neighborhood.
Beautiful Bougainvillea on this dreary afternoon
I want to own a little cottage scaped out in Bougs
Approached a sweet memoriam of a bicyclist

you can find me here 3 times out of the week. Particularly fond of the 19th and Mission Goodwill. I'm always walking away with something even if I tell myself out loud I shouldn't. They've got some kooky friendly workers manning the cash registers and their '3 items only and 10 minute limit' in the fitting room rule is nonexistent. I've been thrifting since my early teen years. I'll be goodwillin it to the grave.
My favorite section
One of my favorites in the area. They make one of the meanest mugs ah Mexican hot Chocolate. Chummm.
It must have been the ugliest day in June here in SF but one of my better off days.
I love you SF
